Getting and Evaluation
Communication Interventions accepts these methods of payment:
Insurance
If you have one or multiple insurances, Communication Interventions will verify if you have speech therapy benefits with your health care plan. Georgia Medicaid covers speech therapy services and most insurance companies provide a percentage of coverage towards out of network providers. Usually, the remaining difference in what the insurance company does not pay is picked up by a secondary insurance company or the parent’s participation. These circumstances are always worked out prior to treatment services being rendered and are handled by our administration.
Private Pay
Is available with a sliding scale option (if necessary) based on financial hardship.
Use checklist for getting started:
- Call Communication Interventions at 404.720.4278 today to schedule an evaluation date. We will also go over the next three steps together on the phone.
- Prescription from your child’s pediatrician for a “speech evaluation and treatment” with his/her diagnosis on it
- Copy of your current insurance/medicaid cards
- Current pediatrician’s name, address, phone and fax
In the rare event that you have trouble with getting the prescription from your doctor, you can contact our administrative staff and we can assist you with this process.
