Parent Coaching Consultations with Anita Bullock-Morley

As a parent, do you feel “stuck” with your responses to your child’s behaviors?

Do you sometimes secretly feel like a bad parent, even though you are trying your hardest to do the best for your kids?

Do you feel guilt and frustration because you desire a positive, peaceful, loving home, but you don’t always understand the path to get there, especially when children are screaming and tensions are high?

Anita Bullock-Morely, drawing on her 20-year career working with children as a speech-language pathologist, as a mindfulness coach for children and families, and from her own journey and struggles as a parent, will lead you through an open, warm, nonjudgemental dialogue to first understand your family’s current dynamic and the specific challenges you face on a daily basis.

Life with children is imperfect and messy. As a homeschooling mom of two, Anita understands all too well the realities of daily life as a parent. The goal of this process in not perfection, but instead to provide you with an increased understanding of why your child is doing what they are doing, as well as a set of tools to empathetically connect with your child and to be able to navigate each situation with calm, confidence and ease. Anita will offer techniques to ground yourself and regulate your child.  She will lead you to let go of the parenting approaches that you know aren’t working, and to shift your connection and communication to bring more peace into your home.

Using a systematic approach she developed, the Four C’s Technique (Finding the Calm, Connecting, Communication, Consistency), she will teach you how to overcome any sticky parenting situation.  Her process will uncover the root cause of your child’s behaviors and empower you with strategies to meet your child’s needs appropriately and build their trust (thereby mitigating the challenging behaviors), while simultaneously addressing your own needs. Peaceful does not mean permissive. Anita will help you to find a balance.

By the end of your experience, you will see your child and their behaviors in a new light, develop more compassion for your own parenting, and, most importantly, confidently build the positive, peaceful relationship with your child you desire.
